Dan’s Dieting Advice

To lose or maintain your weight:

  • Eat less – your eyes are bigger than your stomach
  • Eat slowly – enjoy the taste and textures of your food
  • Eat healthy – more vegetables, fruit, beans, fish, chicken, and tofu
  • Drink water, tea, and coffee; don’t drink fruit juices, soda, or milk (they all have easy to miss calories)
  • Keep a simple food journal – just take pictures of everything you eat, and review it in the morning before you eat anything.

Exercising will not help you lose weight, but it will make you feel better and make your body healthier.
